Steves heating and cooling has a great policy of weekend servicing which was helpful since our AC system went out over the weekend. Dylan was there within an hour and a half of me calling and diagnosed our system. Even though the news was bad Dylan was very straightforward and gave us many options. We decided to go with the full replacement and within 24 hours our system was replaced. Dylan explained every step and worked hard to get things done before the day was up. Super efficient and professional. The whole experience was great and I would highly recommend Steve’s heating and cooling
Thermostat went out and was a bit of a nightmare with Evergy’s Nest program. Josh identified the issue, helped me replace the unit timely and make the extra effort to stick around and test some additional issues before being fully satisfied. Chose to do another year on your service contract. Hope it works as well as in past years. Update, Aug 7, 2024: AC was out when I came home for lunch on Election Day. (I’m a poll worker.) Called Steve’s and Josh arrived in 20 minutes. He got the AC running while I went back to work. He called and recommended a further repair. Bryan came out the next day with the additional fix.Yeah, the service contract worked well.

We had no air conditioning, when the tech arrived it was raining and lighting. So he waited fifteen minutes to see if the weather would let up. He then worked on my unit and got the issue resolved before the rain began again twenty minutes later. This is professional and great customer service. I applaud Steve’s Heating and Cooling and the mission essential workers they employee.

A/C stopped working late Saturday night. Texted Steve’s at 5am on Sunday, they texted back and said they would be at my house between 9 & 10. Technician found a bad capacitor, replaced and now my house is getting cooler. David was on time, knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to. He is a great field ambassador for Steve’s!!

Saved my day! Noticed at 5:45 while making dinner that the air coming out of my vents was hot and it was 94° out on a Monday. He came out fixed the issue and by 9:00 the house was getting cool again!

I called multiple ac companies and Steve's was by far the most reasonably priced by hundreds and the tech they sent was very professional and in my opinion went above and beyond to get our ac fixed I would recommend them to everyone it's nice to have a family owned company who isn't charging you an outrageous amount because they have huge overhead from my family to yours thank you
So glad we called Steve's heating and cooling. They arrived earlier then expected which was fine with us. Josh fixed our central air unit. It was way cheaper then any other place we called. His. We had our first appointment last week for heating and cooling maintenance. The cost covered AC & Furnace-- this appointment was for the AC unit and they will schedule the furnace this fall. Very happy with this company so far! Bryan did a great job checking out our unit.

I saw good reviews on my Neighborhood app for Steve's. I'm so happy I took their recommendation. I am even more pleased that a young serviceman, Dylan, showed up that same day. He quickly spotted the problems. He explained and presented options. Moreover, Dylan was so respectful and conscientious, the way folks used to be. He advocated for ways that I could save money on having to replace my a/c unit. He certainly made the best of one of those unfortunate homeowners events we have to incur. I have no reservations on recommending Steve's and applaud Dylan. My brother-in-law who works in commercial heating and a/c even said I got a good deal.

Heat went out, initial service visit misdiagnosed the original issue which tacked on an extra day or two to get the right part ordered/installed. Luckily it wasn't cold out, and at the end of the day the correct part was installed.
During the week of February 12-16, 2024, our furnace variable speed motor started banging and rattling very loudly when it would kick on. We struggled thru the weekend, and on Monday the 19th, I called Steve's Htg and Cooling first thing that morning. The call taker was very pleasant, and to my surprise, she was able to get someone out to our home that afternoon. She gave a 2 hour window between 2 and 4 p.m. About 3:30 p.m., Josh showed up and it took about 10 minutes for him to trouble shoot the problem, and correct it. Cost the price of a trouble call, but at least it was determined the motor did not need replacing.A little back story, Steve's Htg and Cooling had installed a new furnace, A/C compressor, A-coil and home humidifier in 2018. The motor was under warranty at this time, but not the labor charge. Josh notified me that Steve's had been sold a few years ago The previous owners had retired, and I will say the service did not suffer. The person I had contacted that morning, Wendy, was very pleasant and like I alluded to earlier, surprised me by obtaining this trouble call on the same day.While Josh was here, I asked about replacing the humidifier filter, but we noted the build up of calcium deposits plugging up the saddle valve and water line used for the humidifier. He gave me two options to fix, (1) installing a new saddle valve, or (2) replacing the section of water pipe for the water supply and using a 90 degree ball valve instead of a saddle valve. I went with the pipe replacement. Tho more expensive, I already had 2 saddle valves on the pipe, no sense in placing a third, which would invariably plug it up also. He set up an appointment for Wednesday, the 21st.On Wednesday, Dylan showed up within the agreed on 2 hour window. He was able to perform the pipe replacement and filter replacement within an hour, and was conscientious about cleaning up the area. He was personable and even pulled a plugged nozzle off the hallway bathroom sink, when after turning on the water supply to the house, it seemed to have low pressure on the supply side.Service was not free, obviously, but the work and results of said work were definitely very reasonable. Also, unlike some companies I know of, the trouble shooting of the original problem (fan) was corrected quickly and no attempt to upsell me a new fan when it was not needed. Like I said earlier, fan was under warranty, but the labor was not.I highly recommend this company. They are my company of choice regarding heating and cooling problems. Luckily, the members of Steve's Htg and Cooling that I dealt with (Wendy, Josh, and Dylan) were very professional and corrected our problem in a very timely and cost conscious manner. We were so pleased with our service by Steve’s when our furnace quit last Friday when it was 5 degrees. They came out promptly and diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Both guys who came were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Before they arrived I received a text advising me the name of the tech who was coming, his credentials and a photo of him. A great idea. I recommend calling Steve’s.

Our furnace went out on a January Saturday night, Steve’s sent someone out first thing Sunday morning to diagnose, and we had a new unit installed before 4pm on Monday afternoon. David with Steve’s was very thorough and gave me plenty of options on units and routes to take, which I was glad to have. They even gave me an offer to replace to individual part that went out on the old furnace, but part quotes were not retrievable on weekends. Knowing that our entire HVAC unit was approaching 21 years old, we knew it all needed to be updated entirely. They did a fantastic job. Only critique is that the vent cleaning service seems to be a bit expensive, but I did not elect to more forward with Steve’s for that job. 5+ stars for coming out and installing this system with 10” of snow on the ground and an icy Monday morning.
Our aging furnace went out the evening of January 17. I called Steve's and they sent someone out at 8 the next morning on the 18th.We knew it needed replaced and they were able to install a new one that day. Less than 24 hours and we are warm again! Thank you Steve's and Josh! Great customer care and service!!
Fixed my mom's furnace during subzero temperatures! Josh figured out the wiring was incorrect so it had not been running up to capacity. He rewired and it's running good as new! Great service highly recommended

Bryan and Josh were simply great, finished replacing my ancient furnace with a new furnace in one and half hours and they left no mess behind. There was no hassle with using Steve's Heating and Cooling and they were reasonably price (read affordable). I have been using Steve's a number of years now and will continue to use them in the future.

Dylan did a very competent and thorough job for us including furnace inspection and cleaning and installation of a humidifier. He carefully explained the use and maintenance of the humidifier system. He took his time to make sure all our questions were answered.
David and Dillon replaced our AC and AC Coil. They did a fabulous job, communicating what was happening all along the way. They arrived on time, were polite, hard working, and cleaned up when they were done. We are really happy with their product and service! Highly recommend!

Had them out at the end of June because our AC wasn’t cooling evenly throughout the house. Plus we had never had our AC unit checked and being new to the house wasn’t even sure how old it was. Paid $99 bucks to be told our returns need to be reworked. But with it being just before 4th of July we would need to wait a couple weeks for a plan and estimate on how to fix our returns. It is mid September and we still haven’t heard ANYTHING back from them. Complete waste of money.

Our A/C went out late last night with 100+ degree summer temperatures predicted for the next day. When I called, it was after 10 pm so I assumed I would just leave a voicemail and someone would call me back in the morning. To my surprise, Steve’s Heating and Cooling answered and quickly put me on the schedule for 9 am the next morning! Bryan, the technician sent to us, was timely, helpful, and kind. He had our system fixed in less than 20 minutes! Steve’s Heating and Cooling consistently has great service and their Seasonal Maintenance program is great! Because we signed up for the program, we were given priority scheduling for our appointment today and got a discount on the needed parts. I can’t recommend Steve’s Heating and Cooling highly enough!
I've dealt with Steve's for the past 10 years and found them to do a very good job, on time, and they don't break the bank. Today, I met Bryan for the first time and asked him how long he'd been in the business, to which he said 35 years. He answered all my questions and serviced my AC unit while he talked. Most guys aren't that good at doing 2 things at once. I've recommended Steve's on several occasions to neighbors and friends and will continue to do so in the future.
I have used Steve’s for about 20 years for HVAC standard maintenance. Last night I realized that the house had heated up to 80 degrees even though the fan was running. I called about 7:30am and Josh was here by 10:30. Everything is cooling down nicely now. Thanks!

I was searching for someone who could diagnose and repair my A/C in the house I just bought. I had more than one company come out, (some of which took over a week to even call me back, much less to get scheduled) and they all recommended getting a ductless system for my upstairs. This would have cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I was desperate, as the temperature was climbing into the 90s and I found Steve's Heating and Cooling. They were absolute lifesavers! The owner himself, Shaun, came out almost immediately to take a look. He noted that the system I had was likely a very easy fix, and recommended I hold off on any kind of expensive mini-split setup, at least until we get the basics going. He sent a master technician named Josh out the next day and even did so in the evening, to accommodate my work schedule. It took less than 30 minutes and Josh had my house cooling off, and we are so happy with the service. They are a family-owned business and it shows. They truly care about the people they are serving, and they do business honestly, respectfully and promptly. I wish I could give 20 stars, because this is customer service that is unmatched and I am so thankful!!

Josh, David and Dylan did an awesome job installing our new air conditioning and heating system today. They took extra care walking through our home, laying down drop cloths as it was a rainy day. They were all professional and Josh took extra care explaining the thermostat operation.
